About John
After starting out in 1995 doing HPDE track days in a 3-Series BMW John quickly decided he wanted to race competitively. He started campaigning a Formula Vee in SCCA and experienced success in Regional and National Events across the Southwest Division. He currently campaigns a Panoz Esperante GTRA, Spec Miata and a Porsche Boxster in GTS3. He has been a long-time member of Houston MSR where he spends significant time developing his skills while also providing instruction. “I’m really excited to join TXSpeed. My first event in my Boxster we took two second and two first places at Hallett. The car just kept getting better with everything the team did to it. Racing with such a great team really provides a great foundation for the future.”
